Lynn Haven: Lynn Haven is one of several small cities in Bay County and has a records department almost as robust as Panama City. Members of the public can submit records requests via phone, fax, email, or in person. It is important to note that Lynn Haven does not appear to offer any type of free record.

Retrieve Death & Birth Records in Bay County Through the Florida Department of Health Vital Statistics

Obtaining a death certificate is not as easy in Bay County as it might be to obtain marriage or divorce records. To begin with, the local health department office in Panama City only has death records going back to 2009. All other requests for a certificate of death dated prior to 2009 must be sent to the main Jacksonville office.

Additionally, Florida law prohibits information on the death certificate. If a requestor is not one of the following classes of persons, a death certificate with a cause of death will not be issued:
